Carnival type event from 1-6 pm ** Catrina Ball 6-9 pm Catrina Classroom Competition- community will place votes during the festival, winner will be announced next Friday. Dress up by classroom theme. Each class will be in charge of a game/activity booth. Electives and office staff will work at food booths. |

Holywins Week: Walking with the Saints (Final Week of October) |
Monday – Heavenly Colors Day Dress-Up Theme: Wear white or light blue to represent the light and joy of heaven. Or stars "He counts the stars and calls them by name" (Psalm 147:4). Or rainbow colors that represent God’s promise after the flood (Genesis 9:13). Dress up as creatively as you can to represent heaven and the skies, clouds and stars. Virtue Focus: Holiness – God calls us all to be saints! Optional Action: Write your name on a star and place it on a “Path to Sainthood” bulletin board. Tuesday – Armor of God Day Dress-Up Theme: Wear camo, or knight-inspired clothing to symbolize being a soldier for Christ (Ephesians 6). Virtue Focus: Strength in Faith – Standing up for what is good and true. Optional Action: Pray for someone being bullied or left out. Be a quiet hero today. Wednesday – Peaceful Like St. Francis Dress-Up Theme: Wear earth tones (browns or tans) or animal-print & accessories in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and peace. Virtue Focus: Peace & Simplicity – Living with a humble and joyful heart. Optional Action: Bring pet food or gently used towels/blankets to donate to an animal shelter (in honor of St. Francis’ love for animals). Thursday – Light of the World Day Dress-Up Theme: Bring a glow accessory (glow sticks, LED pins, etc.) and wear neon colors. Virtue Focus: Evangelization – Letting your light shine before others. Optional Action: Invite someone outside of school to pray with you. Be a witness of joy. Friday – All Saints Day Parade Dress-Up Theme: Dress as a canonized Catholic saint for a special parade, classroom showcase. Virtue Focus: Sanctity – Following the saints on the path to heaven. Optional Action: Learn one fact or prayer from “your” saint and share it with the class and your family. |

Monday – Merry & Bright Monday Dress-Up Theme: Wear bright Christmas colors or sparkly accessories. Virtue Focus: Hope – Trusting in God’s promises. Optional Giving: Bring a jacket or sweater to donate to someone in need. Tuesday – Tinsel Tuesday Dress-Up Theme: Decorate yourself like a Christmas tree – tinsel, ornaments, garland, bows, etc. Virtue Focus: Generosity – Giving from the heart. Optional Giving: Bring a canned good or non-perishable item to donate to a food pantry or parish outreach. Wednesday – Warm & Fuzzy Wednesday Dress-Up Theme: Wear an ugly or cozy Christmas sweater. Virtue Focus: Compassion – Caring for those in need. Optional Giving: Bring a new pair of socks, gloves, or a scarf to donate to someone in need. Thursday – North Pole Day Dress-Up Theme: Dress like someone from the North Pole – Santa, elf, reindeer, snowman, etc. Virtue Focus: Friendship – Being kind and loyal. Optional Giving: Bring a blanket to donate to someone in need. Friday – Silent Night & Cozy Lights Dress-Up Theme: Wear Christmas pajamas or loungewear. Virtue Focus: Faith – Believing in God’s love and presence. Optional Giving: Bring a baby item (diapers, wipes, onesies) to donate to a local pregnancy help center—honoring Baby Jesus.
