             I’m looking forward to working with you and your child this year.  For my class to run accordingly, your child will need to follow our class rules.   Please review these rules with your child in order for them to become acquainted  with them.  We  will be reviewing them in class occasionally.

             Rules:              1.   Be nice to others –Respectful (includes keeping hands and feet

                                          to self, sharing, taking turns, etc.)

2.     Use inside voices in classroom and hallways.

3.     Be a good listener (follow directions).

4.     Raise your hand to speak.

5.     Walk in classroom and school building (no running).

6.   Be Safe-Always be with an adult

             Consequences:

1.     Child receives a verbal warning.

2.     Name on board/Sad Face on Behavior Chart

3.     5 minutes in  time-out.

     4.   Red Sad Face will be sent home to parents

 ·         Severe disruptions - the child will be sent immediately to Principal’s office.

            Rewards:        1.  Praise child (verbally).

                                     2.  Child receives a sticker or a treat at

          the end of week according to Behavior Chart

    3.  Send positive notes home.
