About Me

Hello! My name is Juan Sarmiento, and I’m proud to be the 5th-grade teacher at St. Joseph School. I’m originally from Los Angeles, California, and studied at New Mexico State University—Go Aggies! I have a deep love for teaching and feel blessed to guide my students as they grow academically, spiritually, and personally. One of the most meaningful parts of my work is incorporating faith and religious values into our daily lessons and classroom life. I also enjoy sharing my passions for music and food, and I love creating a joyful, faith-filled learning environment. I’m truly grateful to be part of the St. Joseph community and look forward to a wonderful upcoming school year!
