About The Principal
I bring over 20 years of experience in education to my role as Principal of St. Joseph’s Catholic School. A lifelong Catholic and proud product of Catholic education, I have served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, district coordinator, and campus administrator. My leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to forming the whole child—intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and morally.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 1999, a Master’s in Bilingual and Reading Education in 2006, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2011, all from the University of Texas at El Paso. I am currently completing a Master’s in Catholic Pastoral Studies at the University of St. Thomas. This unique blend of academic and faith-based formation equips me to serve the bicultural border community where I was born and raised.
As the wife of a deacon and an active member of the Diocese of El Paso, I am passionate about helping students, families, and educators grow from being Catholics by tradition to Catholics by conviction. I believe Catholic education is both a ministry and a calling—to form saints, inspire servant leadership, and prepare students to face the world with faith, integrity, and joy.
It is an honor to lead the St. Joseph’s family, where Christ is at the center of all we do, and every student is known, loved, and called to greatness.
