ABOUT THE TEACHER

My name is Mrs. Myrna Kunkel and I am the 4^th grade teacher here at St. Joe’s. I have been teaching for 37 years from grades K-3 up to 6^th grade. Eight of those years have been in Catholic Schools. This is my fourth year here at St. Joesph’s.

FUN FACTS

- I was born in California but then moved to Juarez at age 13.

- Spanish was my second language.

- I received my Bachelor’s at the university in Cd. Juarez (UACJ).

- I am happily married, have two boys, ages 30 and 21, and a beautiful 9-year-old granddaughter.

- Teaching is my passion!
